UC DAVIS: OFFICE OF THE CHANCELLOR February 25, 2008 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS RE: UC Davis Foundation--Charles J. Soderquist Award The UC Davis Foundation is accepting nominations for the 4th Annual Charles J. Soderquist Award. The Charlie Soderquist award is given "in recognition of exceptional volunteer leadership and support of philanthropy at UC Davis" and honors and celebrates those individuals whose accomplishments as volunteers have made a significant and lasting impact on UC Davis. The award is a cash prize of $5,000, which the recipient then awards to a single UC Davis college, school or campus unit of choice. For your convenience, a nomination form with details about background, criteria and nominations is attached. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATIONS BY WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 2008. Final selection will be made in March by the nominating committee of the UC Davis Foundation Board of Trustees; and the recipient will be honored at the May 9 Foundation Board of Trustees meeting.
