UC DAVIS: ACADEMIC FEDERATION January 29, 2008 Deans, Directors, Department Chairs, and Administrative Officers (Davis Campus Only) Members of the Academic Federation RE: 2008 Academic Federation Award for Excellence in Teaching I am pleased to announce the 18th annual Call for Nominations for the 2008 Academic Federation Award for Excellence in Teaching. This award is given in recognition of the contributions made to the teaching mission of the Davis campus by non-Senate faculty members, and it carries with it a stipend of $500 to the recipient. The 2008 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS can be found at the following website: http://academicfederation.ucdavis.edu/documents/Call-For-Nominations-Teaching-2008.pdf. ANY member of the campus community can make nominations, and we particularly encourage students to nominate their outstanding instructors. Copies of a poster announcing the call will be sent separately to all departments and units.
