Re: Road Closure - Service Road, November 12, 2007 - November 23, 2007
Due to the installation of utilities for the Physical Sciences Expansion
(PSE) project, the service road along the south edge of the PSE site, near the
intersection of La Rue Road and California Avenue, will be closed to vehicular,
bicycle and pedestrian traffic from November 12 - November 23. See attached map.
Alternate routes for pedestrians and cyclists are north on California Avenue, along
the north side of the Physics-Geology Building, then south to King Hall; or the path
that runs along the arboretum and under the California bridge. The alternate route for
vehicles to access Facilities-O&M is available through the PSE site. Signage will be in
place directing traffic.
Due to this work and continuing work for the South Entry District Utilities project on
La Rue Road, please anticipate traffic delays and plan accordingly.
If you have any questions please call our office at 530-757-3188 or contact Project
Manager Mona Perez, mperez@ucdavis.edu or Construction Inspector Jim Fong,
