UC DAVIS: BOOKSTORE October 4, 2007 To: DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Re: Rental Form for Academic Hoods, Fall Commencement 2007 All faculty and administrators planning to take part in the Fall Commencement ceremonies who hold a degree from another university or a UC degree other than a Ph.D. must have an academic hood rental placed by their department office by Oct. 31, 2007. Departments may access the online ordering system at https://bookstore.ucdavis.edu/ucd-access/facultyhoods/. Rental fee is $20. A separate rush-handling charge of $10 per hood will be added to all hood orders received after Oct. 31. Faculty members should return the hood to their department contact for return via campus mail, or at the collection station at the ceremony. For return-verification purposes, hoods must be returned either in their original, labeled plastic bag, or with a similar identifying label attached to the hood.
