UC DAVIS: University Outreach & International Programs September 10, 2007 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS (Davis Campus Only) Re: Request for Seed Grant Proposals-University Outreach & International Programs Six years ago our office established a Seed Grants for Outreach & International Activities fund to stimulate new and creative initiatives in these two critical areas. So far we have awarded over $750,000 to 86 diverse programs across the UC Davis campus. We request proposals that will foster new programs and initiatives related to: 1) University outreach (continuing, distance, and lifelong learning, and academic engagement with the broader society), or 2) International activities (international research, educational, and outreach programs). UC Davis faculty and academic personnel are eligible to apply. Funding ranges from $1,000 to $20,000 per proposal. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2007.
