Re: Parking Closure - North Entry Parking Structure
June 18, 2007 - September 26, 2007
As a result of upcoming maintenance required at the North Entry Parking Structure,
located off of Howard Way, up to two levels of the five level parking structure will
be closed to parking this summer to ensure that work is completed prior to the fall
quarter. The remaining levels will remain open to parking patrons and signs will be
posted to direct vehicles to nearby surface parking lots. There will be one and
possibly two weekends where the entire structure will need to be closed. Those
weekends will be selected based on the campus' scheduled activities and the
contractor's progress.
The facility was opened in 1993 and requires the upcoming maintenance to safeguard
the integrity of the structure which includes concrete slab repairs, application of
moisture proofing and sealants, and repainting of the interior of the parking
structure.
If you have any questions, please contact Project Manager, Glenn Mah,
ggmah@ucdavis.edu, or Project Inspector, Dave Porter, drporter@ucdavis.edu.
