UC DAVIS: CAMPUS COMMUNITY RELATIONS March 14, 2007 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS RE: Soaring to New Heights, April 17, 2007 The Soaring to New Heights 15th annual program, to be held on Tuesday, April 17, from 11:15-1:30 in Freeborn Hall, is a celebration of diversity including multicultural entertainment and an international buffet. The program also features table displays by UC Campus Constituent groups and the announcement of the Annual Diversity & Principles of Community Achievement Recognition Awards. For further information about the upcoming Soaring to New Heights program, contact Chair Rosie Hall at (530) 754-4375 or rchall@ucdavis.edu. For information regarding the purchase of tickets for the Soaring to New Heights international buffet, see website http://occr.ucdavis.edu/soaring. Tickets are $5 each and must be purchased by April 5. Please note that tickets will not be sold at the door. Supervisors should urge all staff to participate in the Soaring to New Heights event. Department/Unit representation at these events is highly recommended. Release time with supervisory approval is appropriate.
