UC DAVIS: CAMPUS COMMUNITY RELATIONS February 20, 2007 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS RE: Diversity & Principles of Community Achievement Recognition Awards - New Deadline for Nominations Nominations for the Diversity & Principles of Community Achievement Awards are invited. Awards are for campus employees who demonstrate diversity and Principles of Community efforts that exceed the expectations of their position. All members of both Campus and UCDHS communities are encouraged to send in nominations (form attached) for any of the following awards. Recipients of the 2006 Diversity & Principles of Community Achievement Recognition Awards are ineligible. Award descriptions and the criteria for nominations are available in UCD Directive 07-004 (http://directives.ucdavis.edu/2007/07-004.cfm). The new deadline for nominations is March 5, 2007. Please send your nominations to: Vickie Gomez, Program Coordinator, Office of Campus Community Relations, Offices of the Chancellor and Provost. Award Recipients will be recognized at a reception, and at the fifteenth annual celebration of the Principles of Community Event, "Soaring to New Heights," on April 17, 2006, at Freeborn Hall from 11:15 - 1:30pm.
