UC DAVIS: VICE CHANCELLOR - ADMINISTRATION November 17, 2006 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS RE: REVISION - Student Assistant Series Wage Changes for January 1, 2007 and January 1, 2008 On November 15, directive 06-121 was distributed regarding wage changes to the Student Assistant series of positions (Student Assistant II, III and IV). It stated that in order to be in compliance with the new California minimum wage bill (Assembly Bill 1385) for all UC employees we will increase the Student Assistant pay rates for the Student Assistant titles effective January 1, 2007 and January 1, 2008. There was an error in the rate increase indicated for Student Assistant IV positions effective January 1, 2007. Rather than $8.75 - $14.25/hr as indicated, the correct rate should read $9.00 - $14.25/hr. The full list of salary increases should therefore read: Effective Effective Classification Current Rate January 1, 2007 January 1, 2008 Assistant II (4921) $6.75/h $7.50/h $8.00/hr Assistant III (4920) $7.50/h $8.00/hr $8.50/hr Assistant IV (4919) $8.50-13.50/hr $9.00-$14.25/hr $9.25-$14.75/hr All other information in directive 06-121 was correct.
