UC DAVIS: University Outreach & International Programs September 7, 2006 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS (Davis Campus Only) Re: Request for Proposals-University Outreach & International Programs Five years ago our office established a New Initiatives/Seed Grant fund to stimulate new and creative initiatives in outreach and international programs. So far we have awarded over $650,000 to 66 diverse programs across the UC Davis campus. We request proposals that will foster new programs and initiatives related to: 1) University Outreach (continuing, distance, and lifelong learning, and academic engagement with the broader society), or 2) International programs (international research, educational, and outreach programs). UC Davis faculty and academic personnel are eligible to apply. Funding ranges from $1,000 to $20,000 per proposal. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2006.
