UC DAVIS: OFFICE OF THE CHANCELLOR December 7, 2005 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS RE: Recruitment for Vice Chancellor-University Relations I write to announce the recruitment for the position of Vice Chancellor- University Relations. The Vice Chancellor-University Relations is the chief institutional advancement officer for the campus, with responsibility for external affairs including development, alumni affairs, government and community relations, university communications, and advancement services. The campus is undertaking a national search to fill this important position on a permanent basis. A position announcement is attached. We seek candidates of the highest caliber whose leadership ability and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to our campus.
