UC DAVIS: ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS November 10, 2005 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Davis Campus Only Re: Road Closure - West Health Science Drive November 16, 2005 9 AM to 5 PM As a result of underground utility construction for the Parking Lot 57 project, West Health Science Drive (from the north entrance of Thurman Parking Lot to Garrod Drive) will be closed to vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic. Southbound traffic on West Health Science Drive will be detoured through Thurman Parking Lot. See attached map. Larger vehicles should use Garrod Drive or Campbell Road (west of 113) to access the Health Sciences District. Traffic controls will be in effect and flaggers will be posted to direct traffic. For safety reasons it is requested that all cyclists and pedestrians adhere to the posted detour signs. The construction area will be fenced off.
