Re: Request for Proposals-University Outreach & International Programs
Four years ago our office established this fund to stimulate new and creative
initiatives in international programs and outreach and engagement.
So far we have awarded over $500,000 to 50 diverse programs across the UC Davis campus.
We request proposals that will foster new programs and initiatives related to:
1) Engagement (baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate academic and educational
programs that occur outside campus classrooms, and the application of knowledge
in the community); and,
2) International programs (educational, research and engagement programs conducted
overseas as well as programs that bring new international scholars
and students to UC Davis).
UC Davis faculty and academic personnel are eligible to apply. Funding ranges from
$1,000 to $20,000 per proposal.
Proposals are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2005.
