UC DAVIS: ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS November 4, 2004 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Subject: Road Closure - Dairy Road; Nov. 8, 2004 - Sept. 14, 2005 As a result of construction at the Tercero Housing project, Dairy Road, south of Tercero Hall Bikeway has been closed since March 2004. The remainder of Dairy Road (from Tercero Hall Bikeway to Hutchison Drive) will be closed to the general public from November 8, 2004, to September 14, 2005. See attached Map. Automobiles with parking stickers will have limited access to Parking Lots 40, 48 and 48A. Starting November 8th, access to these parking lots will be through the gate located at the north end of Dairy Road, off of Hutchison Drive. Access routes to lots 40, 48 and 48A are subject to change as construction progresses. Updated notices for route changes will be sent out via email by Project Manager, Steve Dukelow. There will be provisions for all emergency, service and delivery vehicles. Traffic controls and signage will be in effect to direct traffic. For safety reasons it is requested that all cyclists and pedestrians adhere to the posted detour signs. The construction area will be fenced off.
