UC DAVIS: ACADEMIC SENATE COMMITTEE ON DISTINGUISHED TEACHING AWARDS October 15, 2004 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS, MEMBERS OF THE ACADEMIC SENATE, AND MEMBERS OF THE ACADEMIC FEDERATION RE: 2005 Academic Senate Distinguished Teaching Awards Call - Deadline Friday, December 3, 2004 The Davis Division of the Academic Senate invites nominations of candidates for the 2005 Awards for Distinguished Teaching. This award honors primarily undergraduate teaching. Nominations are sought from any member of the academic community: students, faculty, staff, alumni, departments or units; and may be submitted on-line at http://academicsenate.ucdavis.edu/committee_dta_form.htm or by campus mail (nomination form [Word Doc]). Successful nominations provide the perspective of both students and faculty. The Distinguished Teaching Award Committee urges faculty to work with students to help them develop a successful dossier for faculty they seek to nominate for this award.
