The Davis Division of the Academic Senate invites nominations of candidates
for the 2005 Awards for Distinguished Teaching. This award honors primarily
undergraduate teaching. Nominations are sought from any member of the
academic community: students, faculty, staff, alumni, departments or units;
and may be submitted on-line at
http://academicsenate.ucdavis.edu/committee_dta_form.htm
or by campus mail (nomination form [Word Doc]). Successful nominations provide
the perspective of both students and faculty.

The Distinguished Teaching Award Committee urges faculty to work with students
to help them develop a successful dossier for faculty they seek to nominate for
this award. Information on the nomination procedure is available on-line at:
http://www.mrak.ucdavis.edu/senate/committee_dta.htm

Deadlines for Nominations: All nomination submissions and letters must be received
in the Academic Senate Office before 5:00pm, Friday, December 3, 2004. If you have
