UC DAVIS: Accounting & Financial Services August 9, 2004 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS RE: Employee Identification Cards Student Accounting is currently issuing new employee identification cards that consolidate the services currently provided on four different cards including: *Blue identification card *Library circulation card *Sodexho Munch Money card *Housing door access card No new blue identification cards will be issued. Existing employees are encouraged to obtain a new multi-function plastic photo ID card. Accounting & Financial Services is assisting this process by taking a photo shop “on the road” during September and October. Career faculty and staff will have the opportunity to have their pictures taken for the new official UCD Employee Photo ID card at convenient locations near their work. The ID cards will then be printed and mailed to participants within 2 weeks to minimize any time away from work. Our hope is that the majority of career employees will obtain their new ID’s during this period of time. New employees will have their pictures taken at the New Employee Orientation. The Offices of the Chancellor and Provost is not longer the contact for Visiting Scholar identification cards. As of June 1, the temporary identification cards are issued through Student Accounting in 2100 Dutton Hall. Application forms for the temporary ID’s may be found on the Human Resources website at http://www.hr.ucdavis.edu or on the Employee ID website at http://accounting.ucdavis.edu/employeeID. You will receive additional information regarding remote locations, dates and times for the Employee ID “road show” in the next few weeks. However, the new ID cards are available now at 2100 Dutton Hall (Student Accounting), between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
