UC DAVIS: Bodega Marine Laboratory May 20, 2004 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS: SUBJECT: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR RESEARCH AND TRAVEL TO Bodega Marine Laboratory and Reserve for 2004-2005 1st Deadline: June 30, 2004 2nd Deadline: November 15, 2004 (if funds available) Bodega Marine Laboratory is now accepting applications for research and travel involving the Bodega Marine Laboratory and Reserve for 2004-2005. Special consideration will be given to new and collaborative projects utilizing the facilities of the Laboratory and the Reserve. Applications from Academic Senate members, Academic Federation members with PI status, and graduate students should be completed on the appropriate forms, and mailed to the BML (see address below). Applications and awards are limited to $1,200 in any 12-month period. PROCEDURES: 1. Obtain BML Intercampus Research & Travel Grant Application forms by email, fax, or phone call to address listed below, or http://www.bml.ucdavis.edu/facresearch/TRAVWEB.pdf 2. Complete BML Intercampus Research & Travel Grant Budget Worksheet and submit with application. 3. Complete Application form and obtain department chair's signature. 4. Attach a 1 page single-spaced proposal/summary of the project. Include a 1 page progress report if funded in 2003-04. 5. List publications from last 3 years on BML/BMR research. 6.
