RE: Call For Proposals
ET Partners for Winter/Spring 2004
Mediaworks is pleased to announce the call for proposals for the
Educational Technology (ET) Partners Program for Winter and Spring
2004. This program pairs faculty with specially trained students for
one quarter, with the goal of advancing the faculty members'
expertise in computer software and/or hardware (selected by the
faculty member) and to help them effectively incorporate that
technology into their teaching.
The ET Partners Program has been very successful since its inception
in Fall 2001. To date, sixty-two faculty members have been able to
participate in the program, becoming more conversant with technology
and developing instructional projects specifically related to their
teaching interests and needs. Many faculty have found this program
to be a wonderful opportunity for professional development and for
one-on-one technology training.
The call for proposals and application form are available on the Web
at: http://etpartners.ucdavis.edu/. Printed applications and help
with the application process are also available from Christine
Sarason (cfsarason@ucdavis.edu or 752-9545) at the Arbor, 165 Everson
Hall.
The application deadline for Winter and Spring 2004 is 5:00 P.M.,
Wednesday, November 19, 2003.
