UC Davis: Vice Chancellor - Administration October 20, 2003 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND CAMPUS/UCDHS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Re: Catastrophic Leave Sharing Program The campus and UCDHS Catastrophic Leave Sharing programs allow an employee to donate accrued vacation to a colleague. These programs may be used when a career employee uses up all of his or her accrued leave due to the serious illness or injury of the employee or a family member.
