UC DAVIS: Vice Chancellor - Administration December 16, 2002 Please Post and widely Circulate DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS RE: Employee Health Services - Temporary Relocation and Closure; December 19, 2002 - January 3, 2003 The Employee Health Services clinic, located at 501 Oak Avenue, Davis, will experience a temporary disruption of services from Thursday, December 19 through Friday, January 3. During that time the building will be closed for painting and a complete rewiring of the computer network. The following arrangements have been made to provide emergency medical treatment for workers injured during that time. December 19, 20 & 23 - A doctor and nurse will be available for phone consultation and first aid treatment at the UC Davis Medical Group Specialty Clinic Offices, located at 1970 Lake Blvd., Davis. Please call 530-792-8544 for instructions and directions to the clinic. A physician will also be available by cell phone at 916-719-2773. December 24 - January 3 - Employee Health Services will be closed. Employees who are injured during that time may be seen at Sutter Davis Hospital Emergency Room or Cowell Student Health Center. An Employee Health Services physician will be on call for Primate Center exposures and other emergencies at 916-523-0377. Please call 911 for life-threatening emergencies or go to the Sutter Davis Emergency Room for non-life-threatening emergencies. Follow-up care will be conducted at the Employee Health Clinic after it resumes its regular services on January 6.
