UC DAVIS: UCD BOOKSTORE; MEMORIAL UNION October 21, 2002 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Re: Rental Form for Academic Hoods All faculty and administrators with a degree OTHER THAN a Ph.D. from the University of California who plan to take part in December 2002 commencement ceremonies and want to wear an academic hood must make reservations through their department office for academic hood rentals by October 30, 2002. Rental fee is $20. A SEPARATE RUSH-HANDLING CHARGE OF $20 PER HOOD WILL BE ADDED TO ALL HOOD ORDERS RECEIVED AFTER OCTOBER 30. Hoods must be returned to the UC Davis Bookstore at the Gown Collection Station outside Recreation Hall immediately following each ceremony. NOTE: *Faculty gowns and/or University of California Ph.D. hoods are supplied and collected by General Rental Service through Central Stores. A separate directive regarding these items will be distributed by them. Do not use this form for items distributed by Central Stores.
