UC DAVIS: OFFICE OF THE PROVOST October 9, 2002 DEANS, DIRECTORS, AND DEPARTMENT CHAIRS ACADEMIC FEDERATION MEMBERS RE: Professional Development Program for Academic Federation Members I am pleased to announce that the Professional Development Program will provide awards for the 2003-2004 academic year. This competitive program provides funding to enable the pursuit of professional development activities that will enhance an individual's effectiveness and range of capabilities in his/her current position. The application instructions and cover sheet are posted on the Vice Provost-Academic Personnel web site at: http://academicpersonnel.ucdavis.edu/acadfed/acadfeditems.cfm Please note that the proposal, the department chair's letter, and any optional supporting letter must be forwarded to the dean or other appropriate administrative officer no later than November 20, 2002. Dean's offices should transmit the applications and supporting material to the Office of the Provost by December 11, 2002.
