UC DAVIS: OFFICE OF RESEARCH SEPTEMBER 10, 2002 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND CAMPUS/UCDMC ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS RE: WORKSHOP ON POST-AWARD AND COST ANALYSIS On Tuesday, September 24, staff will have the opportunity to attend a live satellite video workshop presented by NCURA (National Council of University Research Administrators) and sponsored by Accounting and Financial Services and the Office of Research. The workshop is entitled "What Departmental Administrators Need to Know About Post-Award and Cost Analysis" and will focus on understanding the symbiotic relationship between departments and post-award offices. It is recommended for academic department administrators who work on proposal development and pre-award issues. Staff from Extramural Accounting and the Office of Research will be on hand to answer questions during the break and after the broadcast. The broadcast will begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue through 12:30 p.m. The broadcast will take place in 1100 Social Sciences. Parking is available in the North Entry Parking Structure.
