UC DAVIS: Vice Chancellor - Administration August 28, 2002 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS RE: Staff Affirmative Action & Diversity Advisory Committee (SAADAC) - Brown Bag Luncheon Series: Monday, September 9, Noon, Mee Room MU The Staff Affirmative Action & Diversity Advisory Committee (SAADAC) invites members of UC Davis to attend the first program in its Brown Bag Luncheon Series on Monday, September 9, at noon in the Mee Room, Memorial Union. The first program will be as follows: Karen Zatz, J.D., Associate Director of the Anti-Defamation League, Central Pacific Region, San Francisco, will speak on "hate crimes and bias-motivated behavior." It will be an interactive talk and discussion on how hate violence affects communities, and how we can recognize and respond to it. Ms. Zatz will also briefly describe the work of the Anti-Defamation League. Please join us. During the year additional programs will be offered on topics of interest to our community.
