UC DAVIS: ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS July 29, 2002 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Subject: Traffic Restrictions La Rue Drive-Dairy Road Intersection to La Rue-Garrod Intersection - Beginning Monday, August 5, 2002 The Health Sciences Infrastructure Project will continue with underground utility construction, beginning on Monday, August 5, 2002 and be complete by Friday, August 23, 2002. Construction will begin on La Rue at the Dairy Road intersection and proceed west. Traffic will be limited to a single lane in each direction on the north side of La Rue. Trench excavation will be in progress on the south side of La Rue. Street-side parking will be posted along La Rue in the affected areas. La Rue Road access to Fleet Services will be temporarily routed through the Unitrans North gate on Garrod drive. (See attached map) Construction barriers and signs will be placed around the construction zone. Traffic controls will be implemented as necessary. All work areas will be plated during non-work hours for safety.
