UC DAVIS: ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS July 24, 2002 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Subject: Traffic Restrictions on Campus - West Health Sciences Drive Between Garrod and Parking Lot 53 beginning Monday, August 5, 2002 The Health Sciences Infrastructure Project will continue with underground utility construction on West Health Sciences Drive between Garrod Drive going north past Med Sciences Drive. West Health Sciences Drive will be closed between Garrod Drive and the north end of Lot 53. A temporary driveway will be installed at the north end of Parking Lot 53 that will provide access to Lot 53, as well as Parking Lot 52 and the loading docks at Tupper Hall (See attached map). Construction work will begin on Monday, August 5, 2002 and be complete by Monday, August 26, 2002. Construction barriers will be placed at each end of the construction zone. Traffic controls may be in effect at times to move equipment. During these times flaggers will be posted to direct traffic. All work areas will be fenced for safety.
