UC DAVIS: IET Mediaworks June 24, 2002 MEMBERS OF THE ACADEMIC SENATE MEMBERS OF THE ACADEMIC FEDERATION RE: Call for Proposals for Educational Technology (ET) Partners Program Colleagues, IET Mediaworks announces a Call for Proposals for Fall Quarter 2002 participation in the ET Partners program. The ET Partners program is part of a concerted effort to make the technology learning process time-effective and frustration-free for busy instructors. Specially trained undergraduate students will be assigned to instructors helping them to learn how to integrate technology into their teaching. For at least five hours per week over the course of the quarter, these one-to-one partnerships will help instructors develop expertise in educational technology. The program is now two quarters old and is proving a great success with faculty and student partners alike. If you are interested in being considered for participation during Fall Quarter 2002, please respond by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2002. Applications may also be submitted for Winter Quarter 2003. Additional details and the application form are available at: http://mediaworks.ucdavis.edu/edutech/ETPartners/call.htm. Printed applications and help with the application process are also available from Chris Sarason (cfsarason@ucdavis.edu or 752-9545) at The Arbor, 165 Everson Hall. Harry R. Matthews Professor and Director, IET Mediaworks hrmatthews@ucdavis.edu 02-088
