UC DAVIS: ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS November 5, 2001 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Subject: Traffic Restrictions on Campus Continuing work on the Chilled Water Distribution Improvements project will result in the following traffic restrictions: * Hutchison Drive and Dairy Road intersection will continue to be limited to single-lane traffic, in both directions from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Construction through the intersection will be completed by Tuesday, November 27, 2001. The intersection will be plated at night for normal traffic in both directions. Flaggers will be posted to direct traffic. * Dairy Road north, between Hutchison Drive and Tercero Hall Road, will remain closed to all traffic until Friday, December 7, 2001. Ingress and egress to Parking Lot 40 will remain available through Parking Lot 41. Tercero Hall Road and the Dairy Facility will remain accessible via Dairy Road south. Dairy Road south at La Rue will remain available for two-way traffic. * La Rue Road, between Putah Creek Lodge Drive and Dairy Road, will be restricted from Monday, November 12 through Friday, December 14, 2001. Street parking in the area will be eliminated and single-lane traffic in both directions will be limited to the north half of the street. A concrete barrier will be installed to separate construction from traffic. Traffic may be limited to a single-lane, alternating directions, between 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM to move equipment. Flaggers will be posted to direct traffic. Trenching will be plated at night for safety. Traffic control and warning signs will be posted.
