UC DAVIS: ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS September 25, 2001 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Re: Traffic Restrictions on Dairy Road The Chilled Water Distribution project continues to extend chilled water piping. Dairy Road will be affected as follows: * Dairy Road north between Hutchison Drive and Tercero Hall Road will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, October 8, 2001. Dairy Road will reopen Monday, November 5, 2001. Ingress and egress to Parking Lot 40 will be available through Parking Lot 41. Tercero Hall Road and the Dairy Cattle Facility will be accessible via Dairy Road south. Dairy Road south at La Rue will be made available for two-way traffic. * The intersection at Hutchison Drive at Dairy Road will be limited to single-lane traffic, in both directions, from 9 AM to 4 PM beginning Monday, October 15, 2001, through Friday, October 26, 2001. The intersection will be plated at night for normal traffic in both directions. Construction through the intersection will be completed by Sunday, October 28, 2001. Flaggers will be posted to direct traffic. Traffic control and warning signs will be posted. A temporary security fence will be installed along Dairy Road.
