UC DAVIS: ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES August 10, 2001 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRPERSONS, AND CAMPUS/ UCDMC ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Re: Increase in Meal Rates The UC Office of the President has recently changed UC Business and Finance Bulletin G-28, Policy and Regulations Governing Travel, and BUS-79, Entertainment, to increase the maximum allowable amount for meals. UC Davis Policy and Procedure Manual, Sections 300-10, Travel Policies and Regulations, and 330-80, Entertainment with University-Controlled Funds, will be updated to reflect the following revisions. These changes are effective for expenses incurred on or after September 1, 2001. Travel: Daily meal and incidental expenses for travel within the continental United States: More than 10 hours but less than 24 hours $33 24 hours but less than 30 days $50 Entertainment Meals: Breakfast $18 Lunch $30 Dinner $45 Light Refreshment $12 If you have any questions, please contact Mary Herman at (530) 757-8536.
