ALL CAMPUS UNITS

Re: 2001 Campus Service Fair

The sixth annual all campus Service Fair will be held in Freeborn Hall on Wednesday,
October 17, 2001. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for departments to
promote and market their services to the campus community.

Departments wishing to participate in the Service Fair can order table space at
$75.00 per eight foot table. This price includes the table, two chairs and room for
display items. The fee is used to pay the cost to rent Freeborn Hall in addition to
publicity efforts and handouts for the event. The event is partially subsidized by
several campus service departments who either donate their services for the day or
offer their services at a reduced fee. These welcome subsidies allow more
departments to participate and promote their units' services.

Whether or not you participate in the fair, please consider donating a door prize.
Your item(s) will be displayed throughout the fair, and a drawing for the items will
be conducted at the end of the fair. In the past, prizes have ranged from t-shirts to
trips as well as a number of terrific campus services. No donation is too small. If
you are interested in donating an item, please contact Kelly Kennel, at 2-5500 or
	kmkennel@ucdavis.edu.

Attached to this page is a form to complete if you are interested in participating in
the fair and/or donating a door prize. Please return the form to Barbara Greene at
Fleet Services by August 17, 2001. You may also register on the Service Fair
website at http://servicefair.ucdavis.edu or e-mail the necessary information directly
to btgreene@ucdavis.edu. Please be sure to include answers to all questions in
	your response.

Please plan your ideas around this year's Service Fair theme, "Celebrating the Arts."
If staff in your department would like to share their artistic talents with the campus,
please encourage their participation by incorporating their ideas in your display.
Because there are a limited number of available tables, particularly if you need access
to the campus network, please respond soon.

If you would like additional information about this year's event, please contact
Barbara Greene at 2-9666 or Peggy Hoos in the Cashier's Office at 2-0462.

						Sincerely,

						Janet C. Hamilton
