UC DAVIS: ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS June 25, 2001 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Re: Road Closure Extended on North Quad Road Closure Between Intersections of West Quad and California Avenue Due to unforeseen conditions that developed during the pipeline work for the Chilled Water Distribution Improvements project, it will be necessary to extend the closure of the North Quad Road between the intersections of West Quad and California Avenue to July 13. The closure began on Monday, June 11, and was to have been completed June 29. Traffic in both directions will continue to be halted during this extended period, and the intersections will remain open for traffic re-routing. Traffic control and warning signs will remain posted. The temporary security fence will remain. The north sidewalk will remain open for pedestrian traffic north of the road. The sidewalk just south along the curb will remain closed. The sidewalk farther south in front of Wickson Hall will be available for pedestrian traffic south of the road. If you have any questions, please contact the Architects & Engineers Project Manager, Dominick Giglini, drgiglini@ucdavis.edu, or 752-1956. Robert C. Strand AIA Campus Architect 01-094
