Re: University Outreach & International Programs - Request for Proposals

Below is a request for proposals designed to stimulate new and creative
initiatives in the areas of university outreach and international programs.
We hope to foster programs and initiatives related to: 1) baccalaureate
and post-baccalaureate academic and educational outreach programs; and 2)
international education and research programs that involve undergraduates,
graduates, faculty, visiting scholars and alumni. UOIP is interested in
creative or new educational and international proposals; and proposals that
support, develop or enhance UC Davis's environment for outreach and
international students and scholars.

Please share this with appropriate faculty, and contact my office at

Sincerely,

William B. Lacy

University Outreach & International Programs (UOIP) requests proposals for

International programs involve undergraduates, graduates, faculty, visiting
scholars and alumni in the facilitation and strengthening of international
education and research programs.

Preference will be given to proposals that:
*Are creative, new educational outreach and international programs.
*Develop or enhance the UC Davis environment for outreach education or for
international students and scholars.
*Support international academic programming.
*Offer promise for additional funding or support.
*Are matched with funds from other sources.
*Support activities that can be sustained beyond the seed grant.
