UC DAVIS: OFFICE OF THE PROVOST October 9, 2000 DEANS, DIRECTORS, AND DEPARTMENT CHAIRS ACADEMIC FEDERATION MEMBERS Re: Professional Development Program for Academic Federation Members This serves as the call for applications for Professional Development projects for Academic Federation members during the 2000-01 academic year. This competitive program provides funding to enable the pursuit of professional development activities that will enhance an individual's effectiveness and range of capabilities in his/her current position. The application instructions and cover sheet are posted on the Vice Provost-Academic Personnel web site at: http://provost.ucdavis.edu/academicpersonnel/programs/pdpafletter.cfm Please note that the proposal, the department chair's letter, and any optional supporting letter must be forwarded to the dean or other appropriate administrative officer no later than November 17, 2000. Applications for the Professional Development Program during the 2000-01 academic year must be received in the Office of the Provost no later than December 11, 2000.
