SUBJECT: UCD Bulk Mail Center Rate Schedule Update
Hourly Rate: Effective July 1, 2000, the new hourly labor rate for the
Bulk Mail Center will be increased to $22.00 per hour. This new rate is
within the Planning and Budget guidelines. The current hourly labor rate
is $21.50/hr.
Postage Surcharge: Effective July 1, 2000, all campus and UCDMC
departments will be recharged a 15% surcharge on the value of postage used.
For example, on a job that included $100 of postage, the surcharge would
be $15.00. On exceptionally large jobs when postage exceeds $6,667 there
is a $1,000 surcharge limit. The 15% surcharge has not been increased
since the establishment of the Bulk Mail Center.
