UC DAVIS: TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING SERVICES May 15, 2000 ALL CAMPUS UNITS RE: South Entry Parking Facilities Update Effective May 22, 2000, Lots 1, 1A and 2 (see reverse side for campus map) will close permanently to begin construction on the new Center for the Performing Arts. Parking patrons who regularly park their vehicles in these lots may park in the recently paved section of parking located south of existing Lot 2 and in the compacted aggregate surface south of the soon to be completed South Entry Parking Structure. The recently paved section of parking will be identified as "A"-permit parking and the compacted aggregate surface will be identified as "A/C" and visitor permit parking. Vehicular and Pedestrian access to the new sections of parking will be via Mrak Hall Drive south of Old Davis Road (see reverse side for campus map). Stack parking services will continue to be provided as necessary in the new section of aggregate parking south of existing Lot 2. Scheduled completion of the South Entry Parking Structure is September 2000. The completion of the South Entry surface parking facilities have been delayed due to recent rains and are scheduled to be paved in August 2000.
