RE:     Faculty Authors To Be Recognized at Annual Event
 
A program to celebrate the newly-published books of UC Davis faculty members
will take place on Thursday, October 8 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Peter J.
Shields Library.  The event, co-sponsored by the UC Davis General Library and
the UC Davis Bookstore, combines a reception, brief remarks by several of the
authors and a display of more than 100 recently published books of faculty
members. 

This year's faculty author/speakers will include:

There is no charge to attend the event and all UC Davis faculty and staff are
encouraged to attend for this opportunity to hear colleagues speak about their
research, writing and publication experiences.
