Re: Cal Aggie-Davis Community Fall Quarter Blood Drive

Please consider donating blood during the blood drive on Tuesday and
Wednesday, October 13-14, 1998, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Freeborn Hall. All
types of blood are needed. As a special thank you for helping community patients,
everyone who registers to donate blood will receive a coupon for an oil change
from one of the regional Firestone dealers for $6.99 plus tax (retail value
$25.99).

To donate blood, you must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds,
and be in generally good health. Remember to eat and drink plenty of fluids
prior to donating blood, and bring a picture ID for identification purposes.

All staff, faculty, students, and alumni are members of the Cal Aggie-Davis
Community blood program, which provides members and their families with 100
percent coverage for blood and blood costs.

Departmental release time is appropriate for staff wishing to donate. Thank
you for your help in promoting and participating in this event and for your
ongoing concern about healthcare in our community.
