RE:  FREE BOARDING ON UNITRANS FOR UC DAVIS PARKING PERMIT HOLDERS

Effective Thursday, October 1, 1998, all quarter, annual and multi-year UC
Davis parking permit holders may ride Unitrans buses free of any additional
charges.  Boarding Unitrans will be as easy as showing the bus driver a
valid UC Davis parking permit on the plastic permit holder.

Permits will be valid on all regular Unitrans routes, except the S-Line and
on Picnic Day.  Potential users are advised by Unitrans that buses can
become quite crowded at peak times, especially on rainy or windy days.
Mid-hour buses are a suggested alternative.
