RE:     Intercampus Bus Service Fall Schedule

     On Monday, September 28, 1998, the Intercampus Bus service that provides
transportation for faculty, staff and students between Davis and Berkeley will
change to its fall schedule of three round trips daily.

     The Intercampus Bus provides transportation between the Davis campus and
the Berkeley campus for University employees, registered students, and other
University affiliates.  The bus also carries interlibrary loan material,
intercampus mail, and other priority materials to and from the Davis campus,
Berkeley campus, and the Office of the President.  The bus service cannot be
used for commuting to a place of non-University employment or by
non-University
personnel.

     The bus picks up and delivers passengers at the Library receiving dock on
the south side of the Library on the Davis campus.  In Berkeley the pick
up/drop off area is the West Gate entrance.

     Departments purchase tickets and passes with departmental funds, but may
not resell them to students and employees.  Departments may order books of the
not-for-resale $5.50 tickets and multi-trip passes (20 rides) from Fleet
Services using the form in the Policy and Procedure Manual, Section 300-31,
exhibit B.

     Faculty, staff and students may purchase tickets on the Davis campus
directly from the Cashier's Office (both UCD and UCDMC), Memorial Union Box
Office or TAPS (Transportation and Parking Services) Office with their
University Identification Card or Registration Card.  The Cashier's Office and
Box Office are open M-F 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The TAPS office (located on
Extension Center Drive across from the Recreation Pool) is open from 7:00 AM -
5:30 PM Monday through Friday.  Tickets are available in Berkeley from
"Berkeley Trip," 2033 Center Street.
