UC DAVIS: TRANSPORATION & PARKING SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF FLEET SERVICES July 20, 1998 DEANS, DIRECTORS, DEPARTMENT CHAIRS, AND CAMPUS/UCDMC ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS Re: DMV Pull Notice System-Reminder California law requires all employees who operate vehicles requiring either Class A or B licenses or a C license with special certificates to participate in the Pull Notice program. The Department of Motor Vehicle Pull Notice System notifies the University when driver-employees are convicted of motor vehicle violations and when action is taken against a driver's license or special certificate. Per Policy and Procedure Manual section 380-20, department heads are responsible for identification of all employees and prospective employees who participate or will participate in the Pull Notice System. The policy lists job titles which must be included in this system; other individuals who are required to drive to perform their job will be included at the discretion of department and unit managers. If you have any questions about the process or administration of the policy, please contact Barbara Greene (Fleet Services) at 2-9666 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Jack Harris, Manager Fleet Services 98-076
