RE: Research Development Publication

Dear Colleagues, 
 
I am requesting your assistance in identifying innovative interdisciplinary
research projects, exceptional faculty, and images (such as photographs and
graphics) that will help us communicate the breadth and depth of our
research expertise to our community off campus. 
 
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) is producing its
first publication to highlight the research enterprise across our campus.
This is being done with the assistance of our campus Editorial Design
staff. The publication will highlight research scholarship on our campus
and the impact of its creativity on: the environment, arts and culture,
health, technology, the region and the world. The recipients for this
publication will be decision-makers within both the private and public
sectors with whom we may seek long-term research collaborations. 
 
I encourage you to send your recommendations by June 1 to Ms. Vivian
Carmichael, communications coordinator within the OVCR, regarding exciting
research projects and images that we might include within this publication.

telephone at 752-9645. Regrettably, we will not be able to include all of
your recommendations. However, we plan similar projects in the future and
will save all your ideas for future consideration.
