UC DAVIS: TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING SERVICES December 2, 1997 ALL CAMPUS UNITS RE: DASH SHUTTLE SERVICE The DASH, which has been providing free lunch time shuttle service between the campus and downtown Davis using the campus' electric bus, will provide its last day of service on December 19, 1997. This shuttle has been provided by the Davis Transportation Management Association (TMA). The exhaustion of grant funding is the reason for the discontinuation of service. An alternative to the DASH is the TMA's Lunch Pass Program which takes advantage of existing Unitrans bus routes that travel through downtown Davis. The attached sheet describes this program and provides 16 free passes. Additional passes are available upon request. Questions regarding the DASH or the Lunch Pass Program may be directed to the Davis TMA at 752-6453. Brodie Hamilton Director, Transporation and Parking Services. BH/psbt Attachment 97-160
