Re: Temporary Closure of Fleet Services' Fuel Tanks
Fleet Services will be upgrading our on site underground fuel storage tanks
in order to comply with upcoming regulatory requirements. In order to do
this, our fuel islands will be closed for dispensing fuel from June 15,
1997 through July 30, 1997.
Departments with assigned vehicles will be able to obtain fuel at local gas
stations using their "California Official State Fuel Credit Card" which was
given to them at the time of their assignment.
If you do not have a fuel credit card for your Fleet Services assigned
vehicle, please call 2-0787 or stop by Fleet Services before June 15 to
pick up the fuel card assigned to your vehicle. For record keeping
purposes, it is important that you use only the card assigned to your
vehicle.
The fuel cards are good at the following stations:
BP (British Petroleum) Chevron
Exxon Mobil
Shell Texaco
Unocal
